About

The Story

Post-hardcore roots, national coverage, and a brand-new chapter.

A part of the South West’s underground DNA for years, Exeter’s Sancho Panzer play uplifting punk rock anthems loaded with heart, sharp social conscience, and a vicious knack for melody. Returning with a renewed sense of purpose and a fresh vocalist, the band recently made their live comeback alongside Big Special at the Bradninch Music Festival. Having earned national coverage from Kerrang!, Rock Sound, and BBC Introducing, Sancho Panzer are currently gearing up to drop their brand-new, highly anticipated EP.

The band first burst onto the scene with their debut mini-album A Current Archetypal, prompting Kerrang! to praise their "post-hardcore with a social conscience," while Rock Sound tipped them as "the beginnings of something special." Punktastic awarded the record an 8/10, predicting the band’s rise alongside contemporaries like Enter Shikari and Kids In Glass Houses. Though life, careers, and families led to extended hiatuses, their follow-up record Your Own Accord proved their staying power, with Loudersound hailing its "rip-roaring, punchy tracks" and Songwriting Magazine celebrating its "commendable spirit."

Now re-energized and stronger than ever, Sancho Panzer are entering their most exciting chapter yet. Check out the latest tracks, join the mailing list for upcoming release dates and show announcements, or get in touch via the contact page for booking and press inquiries.
